About Us

Gupta Capital Group is a single family office engaged in sustainably growing a diversified portfolio of operating businesses and other investments. Over the past 40 years, we’ve developed long-term permanent capital positions across varied investments and portfolio companies.

Our Story

Leading our family office are Satish and Yasmin Gupta. While Satish and Yasmin were earning their MBAs at the University of Dallas, Satish launched SB International with an idea and a $10,000 investment from one of his professors. After finding quick success, he eventually grew SB International from an international metals trading operation to one of the largest suppliers of Oil Country Tubular Goods in the country.

Over the following 40 years Satish and Yasmin started and acquired other businesses in the steel and metals industry and invested across other asset classes to build Gupta Capital Group into the highly diversified family enterprise it is today.

Satish and Yasmin continually give of themselves in a variety of philanthropic causes, most notably health care and research, higher education, and cultural awareness activities.
